Sizing
Our clothing is designed for children aged 2 years and up (although we do love an oversized tee on a younger child too).
We want everything we make to last at least a couple of years of love and wear, which means most designs are loose fit. As a general rule of thumb:
Size S: ages 2-4
Size M: ages 4-6
Size L: ages 6-8
Size XL: ages 9+
If in doubt, please size up.

Why don't you have newborn sizes?
It was an intentional decision to start our sizing at age 2.
There is a huge amount of waste in the apparel industry. We decided that if we made something together, it would need to last and could be worn often, to justify its carbon footprint. Newborns simply grow too fast (in the best way possible), which means they outgrow everything in a few months or even just a few weeks. A lot of newborn clothing never gets worn and newborns are also gifted and handed-down a lot of clothing. The world doesn't need more tees but especially not any more newborn tees.
If you are considering one of our tees for your baby, firstly thank you. We love that you would choose our tees for your little one. May we suggest sizing up. Many babies can fit into our size S by age 1 and we promise by then, it'll last at least two years before they outgrow it.
Why don't you have adult sizes?
We might one day but for now, we wanted to focus on childrenswear. We want to do one thing well first.
Shipping
Our clothing is hand-dyed in Guizhou, China and shipped from Hong Kong, where we quality check each item before we send them to you.
We use SF Express for shipping and can deliver anywhere they ship, excluding the US currently due to tariffs.
Shipping within Hong Kong is free for all orders.

Returns / Exchanges
We want every customer to love their purchase.
For all orders within Hong Kong, we accept returns and exchanges within reason.
For international returns, please email us at shekobeachclub@gmail.com. Please note we may require return shipping costs to be covered.
Care Instructions
With natural dye, there will be some colour fading over time. To minimise this, please wash your garment with special care:
- Hand wash separately to prevent colour transfer
- Use cold water and a mild detergent
- Avoid any scrubbing or wringing
Some colours such as red and purple dye fade faster than others, due to the nature of the plants used in the dyeing process. Indigo dye is generally more resistant to fading.
Handcrafted
All our dyed garments are handcrafted individually by the Dong ethnic minority group in Guizhou, China.
Each one is unique, full of character and therefore there may be minor differences between the garment you receive and the product images you see on our website.

Only chemical free, natural ingredients are used in the dyeing process, which are kind to the skin and planet.
